Emma Webster

Is a writer based in Oakland, California.

Emma's travel writing has been published in several editions of The Audley Traveler, where she served as the magazine's co-editor for 3 years, and on the outdoor adventure site Weekend Sherpa. She has also been published in local literary magazines like Sparkle & Blink, based in San Francisco. Recently, Emma created, designed, and edited a collaborative zine called Okay not to be.

 

Born and raised on the East Coast, Emma moved to the Bay Area in 2017 to pursue her MFA in Writing at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She is currently working on completing her first full-length novel, and when not writing she can found telling stories at The Moth, hiking the Bay Area, and searching for East Coast quality pizza out west.

Emma has a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.
