Emma Webster

Is a writer based in Oakland, California.

Emma's writing ranges from travel guides and short stories to personal essays and longer works of fiction. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts in Writing at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She is currently putting finishing touches on her first full-length novel.

Emma has been published in literary magazines like San Francisco's Sparkle & Blink, and her freelance work has appeared in several Bay Area publications including 7x7 and The Bold Italic. Emma is the creator of a collaborative zine called Okay not to be.

 

Her travel writing has been published in several editions of The Audley Traveler, where she served as the magazine's co-editor for 3 years.

Born and raised on the East Coast, Emma moved to the Bay Area in 2017. When not writing, she can be found posting her adventures on her travel Instagram, @sexyairbnbz, hiking through Northern California, and searching for East Coast quality pizza out west. Emma has a bachelor's degree in Media Studies from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.
